Otis, The American ambassador was looking for a house, of all that he
saw, only liked one, called “The
Canterville Chase”, nobody
want this house because the people said that in the house there was a
ghost, but they didn't believe at the ghots, so they remained with
the house.
When
they arrived at the house, here was Mrs Humney the housekeeper. It
was a wonderful day but in the house there was cloudy and fog. Inside
the house found some scriptures on a window and a bloodstain on the
floor. Mrs Homney said that this stain was impossible of remove. One
of the sons, Washintgon gave at Mrs Homney a liquid stain remover
but, when she tried remove the stain, they heard at the gost's
chains, and Mrs Humney was very worried.
The
next days Watshington tried without sucess remove the stain. A day,
when he was sleeping, heard a chains noise, he went to the corridoor
and here there was a old man, he was the Canterville Ghost. Them Mr
Otis gave a bottle of oil for his chains. The ghost was forious and
threw the bottle on the floor. Them the twins appeared and threw a
pillow at the ghost. The next day, Virginia, the twins' old sister
turned at the twins because they shouldn't do it. While, the ghost
thought how could revenge.
When
he tried frighten again, the twins threw his som little stones. So he
decided use his demonic laugth but only get a sirup for his cought.
This
time for revenge he was thinking a plan for each person, and again he
coldn't do because the twins did at he a trick. At the time, the
ghost stayed in her room. When again he tried frighten, a heavy
bucket of water fell on him. He very humilaited went to his bedroom
and in the next days nobody saw the ghost, and the stain was clear.
A
day, Virginia went for ride horse, and when she returned, she enter
in the ghost's room and knew his a little.
The
ghost asked a big please to Virginia, because she could open the
doors of the peace garden, something that he has been years.
She
only must talk with the Angel of Death, and she accepted. While, the
family was looking for very worried to Virginia.
Sir
Simon led she with the Angel of Death, and he forgave to the ghost
and accepted open the door of the peace garden.
She
tell that was helpping to Sir Simon and taught the Sir Simon's
skeleton that at the end he get to the peace, on the next days they
organized his funeral.
